Descendants of Samuel Fox
Samuel Fox was born in England between 1730-1740 and died before September, 1808 in Nelson County, Virginia. Samuel came to Virginia while it was still a British colony. The exact date of his arrival is unknown. It is believed that he left Middlesex, England in 1758 aboard the ship "The Brothers" bound for Virginia and possibly arrived in March or April of 1759. His first record is found in December, 1770; a deed in Amherst Co, Virginia. He married Elizabeth ? Elizabeth died before AUG 24, 1835 in Nelson Co., VA.

Joseph Fox was born in Greenbrier Co., VA 1802 and died May 1876 in Fayette Co., WV, at 73 years of age. He married Catherine (Cattie) Hix in Greenbrier Co., VA, March 27, 1827. Catherine was born in VA. on November 27, 1806 and died May 23, 1886 in West Virginia, at 79 years of age. Catherine was the daughter of John, Sr. Hix and Love Kaler.

Catherine Fox was born 1839 Greenbriar,VA. On September 18,1859 in Fayette,VA she married Robert Harvey KINCAID( b: 1835 in Greenbriar,VA) Robert was the brother of Albert KINCAID.

She married George W. Bragg in Fayette Co., WV, August 10, 1878.

William Harvey Fox was born 1865. He married Mary Ellen Noel Ennis in Fayette Co., WV, September 29, 1887. Mary was born in Greenbrier Co., WV 1869
Mary C. Fox was born October 25, 1866. She married James M. Hix in Summers Co., WV, December 18, 1889. James was born in Fayette Co., WV 1869. James was the son of Andrew J Hix and S M ?.

She was the daughter of James Preston Ward and Mary Catherine "Cass" ADKINS. Armentia was born on December 23, 1884 in Sandstone, WV and died on May 25, 1969 in Hinton, Summers Co., WV, at 83 years of age.
